Description

Island Peak climbing is heart of Khumbu region. The gate way from Lukla after you can cross several villages to get Island Peak after wonderful Trekking to Everest Base Camp.

Island Peak is located of Everest region that combines several days trekking into the Everest Base Camp until Dingbuche and Chhukung to access this Peak properly. This peak gives us spectacular close-up view of the world’s highest mountains Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse(8516m), Mt.Nuptse, Mt. Makalu (8,201m) and many more other giants Peaks in High HIMALAYAS .

Island Peak is the part of the south ridge of Mt. Lhotse-Shar and the main land forms a semi-circle of cliffs that rise to the north part of the summits of Nuptse Peak, likewise, Lhotse at Middle peak and the Lhotse-Shar. Chopolu and Makalu situated at the east part of the Island peak. Similarly, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and Amphu Laptsa located at the south side from Dingboche. The mountain is an Island in a sea of ice. (Island Peak) Imja Tse that will offer us pleasant climb but also gives some of the remarkable beauties of the Everest region.

    Meet and greet at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. Evening there will be welcome dinner with cultural program.

    Free day in Kathmandu for preparation of the trip. Checking your climbing equipment, and discussing the climb with the climbing/trekking guide and overnight at hotel.

    Fly to Lukla (2,840 m) 35 minutes and 3 hours trek to Phakding (2,610m). Overnight at Lodge.

    Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m), 6/7 hours overnight at Lodge.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

      Altitude : 3440m

    Namche Bazzar (3,440 m) for acclimatization, overnight at Lodge.

      Altitude : 3860m

    Trek to Tengboche (3,860 m), 5 hours overnight at Lodge.

      Altitude : 4410m

    Trek to Dingboche (4,410 m), 5 hours overnight at Lodge.

    Trek to Lobuche (4,930 m), 4 hours overnight at Lodge.

    Trek to Gorakshep (5,140m) 3 hours we have lunch then visit to Everest Base Camp (5,357m) back to Gorakshep & Overnight at Lodge.

    Early morning climb to Kalapathar (5,550 m) enjoy the incredible view of Mt Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, range of Chho – Yu, Khumbu Glacier Amadablam, Everest Base Camp etc then trek down to Pheriche 8 hours, Overnight at Lodge.

    Trek Back to Dingbouche (4,200 m) 5 hours over night at Lodge.

    Trek to Chhukung(4,730m) all gear preparation 2 hours overnight at Lodge.

      Altitude : 4970m

    Trek to Island peak Base Camp(4,970m) overnight at Camp on Tent.

      Altitude : 6189m

    Early in the morning Start climbing to Island peak than back to Chhukung overnight at Lodge.

      Altitude : 3440m

    Trek back to Namche 7 hours overnight at Lodge.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

      Altitude : 2840m

    Trek back to Lukla 5 hours overnight at Lodge.

      Altitude : 1375m

    Fly back to Kathmandu 35 minutes, and transfer to Hotel on. Evening farewell dinner in the celebration of a successful trip.
