Terms and conditions

These Booking Terms and Conditions contain important information. It is essential that you read them carefully and understand them. The Booking Terms and Conditions constitutes a legally binding contract between Northstar Voyage  and you for the services provided by and set out the basis of your legal relationship with Northstar Voyage  Team. 

DEPOSIT

50% of the total package price per person is required to reserve the Tour/Trek/Adventure Activities.

CHANGES AFTER DEPOSIT

Any addition of services like demand of any other language speaking guide/ upgrade of hotel category/ extension of tour/ other arrangement with are not mentioned in the package is required and please don’t forget to reconfirm; and will be subject to cancellation fees.

 PAYMENT

Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

Payments made within 30 days of departure must be certified .

Credit Cards- we accept all major credit cards. Third-party Credit cards are not acceptable. Overseas client payments are to be made via bank wire transfer.

REFUND

Refund requests must be made in writing and received no later than 30 days after the return of the Tour/Trek/Adventure Activities.

Claims for refund for the unused package tour, services, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing, unused entrance fees in the included monuments & accommodations.

No refund will be made if promises (written or Verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, or any other persons not under direct employment of Northstar Voyage.

Cancellation Policy

A notice of cancellation shall be submitted by client in written by mail with authentic reason(s), then refund procedure will be made as follows:

Cancellation rule for Tour/hiking/trekking Etc.

If cancellation made before 15 days of the trip departure date, 25% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation. Further will be same as above process

If Cancellation made before 07 days of the trip departure date 40% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation.

If cancellation made within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu no refund shall be provided. Due payment should be made or claimed by legal process.

Changes to your Holiday and Pricing

Traveling with Northstar Voyage requires a degree of flexibility, good humor and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival etc. Northstar Voyage is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible we will always endeavor to provide you an alternative or substitute trip of same category.

(A) Monies will not be refundable if you came early from your trip. Due to walk fast, tired or any reason. Even we are unable to provide extra Night Hotel , meal etc.

(B) We do not accept any responsibility for loss on employment, delays or compensation resulting from situations beyond trip control.

Passport and Visas
All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients. Visa Fees and Requirements.

Nepal Entry Visa Fees

a) US $ 25 for 15 days Visa

b) US$ 40 for 30 days Visa

c) US$ 100 For 90 days Visa

Multiple Entries: US$.20.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

Health & Fitness

All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness, there for you should always check with your local GP regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It’s the client’s responsibility to notify Northstar Voyage of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you required medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.

Children

A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

Privacy

In order to collect information from you to making a booking through Northstar Voyage we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

Liabilities:

Company will not be liable regarding changes and alternations in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural calamities, political instability, flight cancellation or delay, sickness or any kind of accidents or extra cost incurred. All clients are advised to take out their own insurance to adequately cover against medical and personal accident risk even though we insure you to provide with best experience on your trip with us. 

During tours, transportation, hotel accommodation and other services only acts as an agent so in any way, Northstar Voyage will not be liable for any accident, damages, loss, delay or inconvenience caused in connection with the travel facilities arranged by the company, its employees or agents on deviation because of factors beyond our control.
