    Welcome to the Land of Himalayas! On your arrival and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check in to hotel, time for refreshment.Evening briefing about the trek.O/N at Kathmandu.

    After the breakfast, we will escort you to Pashupatinath- the largest Hindu Temple of Nepal in a private vehicle. The temple dedicated to supreme Hindu God, Shiva banks Bagmati River. At Pashupatinath you will get to see exceptionally carved statues and idols of Hindu deities, a long row of Shiva-Lings, series of small temples and the golden hood at the top of main Temple is truly fascinating. Moreover, an opportunity to witness the Hindu Death ritual at Aryaghat Pashupatinath is an offbeat cultural experience. After the exploration of Pashupatinath we will walk along the busy streets of Kathmandu to Boudhanath. A large domed shaped Buddhist stupa, Boudhanath holds huge religious significance among the Tibetan Buddhists of Nepal. A major shrine on ancient Indo-China trade route Boudhanath offered blessings to traders and scholars for safe journey through the high Himalayan passes to Tibet. Saffron robed monks circumambulating Boudhanath, colorful prayer flags touching the skyline from the dome pinnacle to the base of large monument and the and outlets selling Tibetan souvenirs makes this place a true Tibet outside Tibet. Post lunch the sightseeing tour continues to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The exemplary wooden and stone craftsmanship at the site makes a place the prominent attraction for tourists. The stone paved streets, pagoda style religious monuments inclusive different Hindu deities are the cultural delights of ancient and medieval Nepal at Kathmandu Durbar Square.  Today’s final destination for sightseeing tour in Kathmandu takes you to Swayambhunath. A self emerged Buddhist stupa lies on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu with its watchful eyes. You will get to experience more about Tibetan Buddhism at Swayambhunath.After the full day, sightseeing tour a private vehicle will escort you to your hotel.
    After the day sightseeing tour we drive back to hotel and we check our equipments and get ready with backpack and rest of the time you may explore the Thamel Market.  Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

    Our flight to Lukla is early in the morning (From 6:30- 8:00 AM), so you will be transferred to Kathmandu domestic airport . Though, 3 shifts of eight aircrafts daily fly to Lukla, sometimes because of the bad weather every plane is grounded. So, there are chances you may have to wait for your turn to fly to Lukla. Once you fly on a 19 seater twin otter plane to Lukla, the journey is scenic and at times it is thrilling. After 25 minutes of scenic and thrilling flight, you will land at the airstrips of Lukla which hangs on the cliff at 2800m. On your arrival at Lukla, you will be cordially welcomed by your trek guide and instantly begin the trekking adventure to Everest Base Camp! The trek begins on the trial beside Dudh Koshi River. Through pleasant mid-hill forest we cross pass several Sherpa hamlets, go ups and downs frequently and after 3 and half hours of trek we arrive to Phakding. 
    Today’s trek is relatively short; in fact it is an introduction of typical trek day. Lot more is yet to come enjoy.Dinner & O/N at Mt. Lodge

    Today,  the first half day of the trek, gradually ascends up to the Dudh Koshi Valley. The trial goes through several suspension bridges from one hill to another hill. After 2 hours of pleasant walk we arrive at Sagarmatha National Park entrance in Manjo. We need to produce our TIMS card and National Park Permit at the Entrance. We will stop at Jorsale for the lunch. Jorsale is  is the last village before Namche. Beyond Jorsale, we chase the trial that arrives to the  longest bridge in the valley, then a short walk brings you to the deep and short, Hillary Bridge. The trial after Hillary Bridge is a 3-hour painstaking steep uphill climb to Sherpa capital, Namche.  then we have a long hill up(almost of 3 hours on slow and steady) to reach Namche. The hard efforts put to arrive at Namche offers with the big reward- the first view of Everest. On reaching to the top, of the hill, we will settle into our Lodge. Dinner & O/N at Mt. Lodge

    Today, we will have our first acclimatization day of the trek! Higher the altitude, thinner the air- we need to gain altitude slowly and steadily so that we get enough time to acclimatize en route, to Everest Base Camp 5357m.  However, the acclimatization day does not mean to chill with the beer at Namche. We hike to a hill above Namche, which is one and half hours hike. The view of  Mt. Everest with great panorama of Khumbu Himalayas are spectacular from Syangboche. Return back to Namche, lunch and remaining day you can simply  relax or visit in and around Namche .

    Gradually the trek now enters above 4000m. A short climb over to the ridge top out of Namche rewards us with the striking views of Everest and Lhotse. We continue to chase the frequented main trail for quite a while. Throughout the trail, we witness traders selling Tibetan handicrafts. As we arrive to the crossroads which lies significantly high above Dudh Koshi River, the trail branches. The downhill trail stretches to Everest Base Camp but we chase the trail that ascends to Mon La Pass. We cross the pass to reach Phortse.. In Phortse we explore around to see the preserved culture in a local monastery, we may visit a  local power house, we may  go for nature walk and even trek to Luri Peak. Then our trail climbs steeply out of the valley through the Rhododendron jungles to the settlements of Tonga and Gyele (3,960m) to arrive Dole.Today we will have marvelous view of Khumbila and Tawache (6,542m). Once we reach Dole, we take time to explore around Dole.  Stay overnight at Dole. 

    Today the trek begins with the gradual climb alongside the valley. We are now into thinner air relatively; the jungle in the vicinity now turns into alpine forest- junipers dominating the woods. As we trek we see many summer settlements and summer grazing lands throughout today’s trail. No doubt in such high altitude Himalayan views shall eventually feast our eyes; excellent views of Cho Oyu, and its neighboring peaks of Kantega and Thamserku are now in the sight. By the lunch time, we would arrive at Machermo 4,410m . Rest of the time we explore around the valley and stay overnight at Machhermo.

    After the breakfast, today the trail climbs over the ridge for an outstanding views; below is a stunning view of deepseated Khantega Gorge and upwards the majestic Cho Oyu (8,153m) stands right before our eyes. Further then the edge the valley extends as trail goes side by side Pangram at 4,390m. We go down to the River bank before we start the climb up to the fetal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. It is vertical scale on the moraine, afterwards the path heights out as it follows the valley past second lake. A bit further up we arrive to Gokyo valley for overnight stay.

    Early morning we climb to Gokyo Ri (5,463m) from where the Everest (8,848m), Mt Cho Oyu (8,153m), Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and other peaks are visible. Today we have one of the a main days of Gokyo valley Trek.  We hike to fifth Lake  from where  the view of Mt. Everest is amazing. Back to Gokyo valley for night stay

    Today after the trek of the lifetime- Gokyo Valley Trek, we trek on the retracing trail that brings us all the way to famous village in Khumbu, Phortse. Overnight in Phortse.

    Gokyo Valley Trek heads off to one the most famous villages of Khumbu- Khumjung. It is the place where famous Sherpa mountaineers were born and learnt their basic mountaineering skills. Besides, the village is caters rich and authentic Sherpa culture.

    Today treading on the offbeat trail for a while and trekking on the classic Everest Base Camp trail for majority of the time, our Gokyo Valley Trek ends at Monjo.

    The final day of the trek brings us to Lukla. Our trek keeps on to Chaurikharka and climbs up before arriving at Lukla gate again through the forest. End of Gokyo Valley Trek.

    Our flight to Kathmandu is in the morning. After the breakfast, we will check in to Lukla airport and board the plane to Kathmandu.
    Flight is again depended on weather conditions so delay could happen!  On arrival to Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, we will meet you again, take your feedback on the trek with our crew and will host a farewell dinner at one of the finest restaurant in town. O/N at Kathmandu. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

    This is your last day in Nepal. You can do shopping or buy some souvenirs for your family, friends or relatives until your departure to airport. We will transfer you to the International Airport for your departure your onward destination.
